Ownership and Maintenance Responsibilities within the District
The District is responsible for the landscaping along major roads within the District (the south side of Smoky Hill Road, the west side of Liverpool Street, the north side of Arapahoe Road, and Fair Avenue), the Piney Creek Open Space, and the pond just west of the Swim Club. The District also cooperates with the Greenfield Homeowners Association on projects that serve the community.
Rather than hire employees directly, the District contracts with vendors to provide the various services required for annual or seasonal operations. These include:
- District management – CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP
- Legal counsel – Cockrel Ela Glesne Greher & Ruhland, P.C.
- Accounting – CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP
- Landscape maintenance – JBK Landscape, Brightview Landscaping as of January 1, 2023
- Pond maintenance – Absolute Natural Resources
Liverpool Metropolitan District (LMD) Responsibilities:
- Piney Creek Open Space
- Pond – Responsible for pond up to water line
- Pond – Docks
- Pond – Signage
- Landscape Maintenance
- Pedestrian Bridge (Shared with Urban Drainage and Flood Control District)
- Snow Removal (some areas are County responsibility)
- Holiday Lighting – 2023 the District will be responsible for the entry monuments and the HOA will be responsible for the clubhouse
